Our work with Back Four involved a complete top-to-bottom rebrand, with the task of updating an outdated identity while keeping to its legacy. We revamped the Back Four colors, logo and led the design and development of their website and mobile apps, including a secure portal for their clients.

Back Four Ltd.

Back Four Brand Protection is a brand protection and anti-counterfeiting agency based out of the UK, trusted by some of the most recognised sports and fashion brands in the world. Passionate about protecting creativity and brand holders, they are committed to align the efforts of brand holders, enforcement agencies and consumers, to tackle the issue of counterfeiting and brand abuse in an impactful manner.

Color Choice

The choice of base colors for Back Four was dictated by the serious nature of its industry. We chose strong, vibrant colors to keep the Back Four image professional, and closely associated with the enforcement landscape. The color red was chosen to signify assertiveness and attract attention, while the blue offset with wisdom and a close association to blue enforcement uniforms.

Logo Design

Our mandate with Back Four was to keep true to their original logo concept, while updating it to be more modern, and usable in app drawer elements.

The logo mark is a simplified sillouette of the back four players in a foosball table. The rounded corners present a modern look whilst the contrasting red and black assist in making the mark stand out.
